Domenica Corbo resides in Scottsdale, Arizona. She and her family moved to Arizona in 1966, replacing the cold Connecticut air with the warm sunshine of the Arizona desert. At a young age Domenica began drawing with pen and ink. In high school she discovered her love of letters, having a fascination with the more complex lettertyles of Blackletter and Old English. Domenica is a graduate of Arizona State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. In 1981 Domenica turned her passion for letters into her life long profession. She draws over forty letterstyles with English characters in many languages including Italian, French, Spanish and German. She draws Hebrew for ketubot, bar/bar mitzvot, weddings, baby namings and other special events.
Her client list is a Who's Who of Arizona business, arts and philanthropy, from Fender Guitar, the Phoenician Resort and Neiman Marcus, to the Phoenix Art Museum, Jewish National Fund, the Heart Ball, Arizona Opera, Child Help USA, and Tiffany & Co. Her corporate work includes the logo design for the Montelucia Resort in Paradise Valley, Arizona. |
